Jessica Madden, MD, is pediatrician, neonatologist, and mother of 4 who has been taking care of newborns since 2003. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Massachusetts and her neonatology fellowship at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a longstanding member of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and is a former Clinical Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. At the present time she is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine.

Dr. Madden specializes in the care of all babies, including NICU graduates, and has guided hundreds of parents in the care of their infants after being discharged home.  She experienced both breastfeeding difficulties and postpartum depression after the birth of her oldest child and she uses the lessons she has learned from both her personal experiences as a new mother and professional experiences as a NICU physician in the care of her newborn patients. In addition, she is a certified lactation consultant who supports all methods of infant feeding.
